How to get the 380 Page Perfect Practice Coaching Volume For Free

I'll give a brief background explanation, and then I'll cut to the chase...You may have come across the Perfect Practice Full Volume before. It is my first (and biggest, to date) coaching publication. Initially I was going to publish a physical book...but, that can cost upwards of $10,000, so I decided to publish websites instead. (Perfect Practice, HoopClinics with Coach Brian Williams, and now Coaches Academy with Coaches Ed Schilling, April McDivitt-Foster, and Brian Williams),

Feedback on the book has been consistently fantastic. Some coaching colleagues have reported big improvements for their teams and, in some cases, their programs. It's a book I definitely take pride in; it took 5 looooong years to complete because I wanted it to be a comprehensive practice planning, drills, plays, and schemes resource for
coaches. It is designed to be (pardon the computer lingo...) plug and play - each chapter represents a segment of a standard practice, so that when you are planning practices, you can go to the appropriate section, find something useful, plug it into your practice plan, and go.

Bottom Line...its a great coaching resource for coaches at every level. Cutting to the chase...

  • I am GIVING the book away - completely free - as a bonus to Coaches Academy members. Before I go any further...we GREATLY appreciate all of our customers - so...if you have ALREADY purchased the book, I have an alternate offer for you. Shoot me an email at - please write "FULL VOLUME CUSTOMER" in the title so I don't accidentally overlook it - so we can discuss it more in person.

I'm sure this all begs the question...WHY?? Why give away a $35.00 book (and around 10K a year of income)? Two Reasons:

  • Bottom line...Coaches Academy Is Something Special. I've been in the game for a long time. Like many of you, I define myself as a coach. It's who i am. And I'm telling you...Coaches Academy is good!
  • I've read so many coaching books I lost count a long time ago. The Full Volume ranks right up there with the best of them. (yes...I am aware that I'm slightly biased!). It will give any coach a solid teaching foundation and lifelong coaching tool. But my personal experience has been this:
    • Every time I have made a QUANTUM LEAP as a basketball coach, it has been as the direct result of being mentored by great coaches.
    • This kind of active learning is always what gets me "Un-Stuck" as a coach. So I'm happy to give the book as a bonus to Coaches Academy members. It will give you a solid foundation...or, if you're an experienced coach, it will give you a thorough and useful resource. Then...Coaches Academy will help you take things to the next level.

The Big Question - Is Coaches Academy right for the level that I coach? (and some cool video testimonials too)

This is one of the common questions we get from Coaches about Coaches Academy.  It makes sense:

  • There are coaches from every level of the game roaming the internet - so its a natural question to ask:  Is this what I'm looking for?  Is it geared to my level of play?  Is it too complicated?  Too  simple? ...and so on...

I'll start by saying that Coaches Academy is as inclusive a program as you'll find for coaches.  Actually...to rephrase...there really isn't a program of its kind to compare it to...and the reason is because there is so much information about so many aspects of the game.   For reassurance that it  is useful/advanced enough for higher level (high school, college, etc) coaches. see the reviews page for  several highly respected Division 1 coach's thoughts on Ed, April, and the Coaches Academy concept.  (Keep on reading for great feedback from several other coaches - thanks, guys!)

These are a few testimonials from parents with kids at Champions Academy.  This is about  outcomes -  all about how their kids got better - much better - after working with Champions Academy.    Our whole focus is helping you produce these kinds of outcomes with your team, whether at middle school, high school, college, or beyond:

  1. A parent talking about his daughter's experience with April.
  2. A Parent Talking About How Ed's coaching is the only place his son can fuel his love of playing hoops
  3. A parent talking about his son's skill improvement and about his conversation with Mike Dunleavy.
